Tweseldown - Training event   I have just completed my 41st Tweseldown event!   All went fine, and the horses were good.  I rode Cusco in the Novice and Princess in the 100, and all went well.  Guto de Faria had his first event in 22 years and the first for this year in the UK.  He had Usain Colt and Notorious Lennon in the 100 and both went great.  Shel...

Hussard Brun went really well in the racehorse class, he gave me a great cross country ride and made it feel very easy.  Obviously the jockey was slightly on go-slow and ended up with a time fault, but he felt very good.  He has moved up one place to 17th so not very excited about the result.   Then I rode Hardingville Lagoon in the 2* show jumping, he jumped a lovely clear and ju...

I started off with Hardingville Lagoon and he did a very pleasing test for his first time in a big arena doing the 2* and he scored 32, and I think he is in some lower placing.  We had a couple of little mistakes but I was very happy with how he went.   Then was Hussard Brun in the Thoroughbred Racehorse class, he was a very good boy and I was delighted with him.  I was amazed how...

It was a very good weeked for Wood Lane.  I was at West Wilts yesterday with my three, and they all did a double clear; Vicky Brake's Hardingville Lagoon, Cusco and Grantstown Star Love.  They all went very well and did nice tests.    Cusco started with a 30, an error from the jockey in the dressage and not a particularly generous judge, but he did a nice test...
