Chepstow at Howick

I had a very pleasant day at Chepstow, which is such a lovely event for the young horses.

I had Hannah Martin’s Latest Edition in the 100 and he once again was very consistent, did a very nice test of 29, jumped a double clear and the only glitch that stopped him winning was two speedy time faults from the jockey….rather expensive and incompetent.

I then rode Cuso in the Novice who was on great form.  He did a lovely test to score 24, but annoyingly not in the lead.  He then jumped his first Novice double clear to finish on 24 and only finished 4th.  However I was very pleased with him, it is his best result so far and just needs more runs.

I also took Vicky’s 7yo Rocket for a trot around, he was on his best behaviour.
