Unbelievably it is already the second half of the 2024 event season and things are as busy as ever.

Grafennacht has gone to Harry Meade after no joy with the embryo transfer attempts, and she is settling in very well.

My young horse team has expanded with the inclusion of Vicky Brake’s duo, and as I have not done very well on the selling front I am looking like having quite a busy Autumn.

Absolutely will aim for a 2*L at Hartpury and 7yo final at Cornbury so he has got some exciting aims.  I will hopefully have a 5yo youngster starting her event career having had a foal, and she might be ridden by Xavier who is here for some training.

On the pony racing front, which is a big new excitement in our lives, we have potentially sold Wizz, and we have the next pony which is a very smart 138 called Ava.  Chloe is very excited to get her qualifications in line, ready for some racing later in the season.

Sara sadly did not have a successful trip to Luhmuhlen, so is currently planning her autumn.  Luckily horse and rider came out of their tumble in one piece, so Dicte could well be aiming for another 5* attempt in Pau.

Kazu has brilliantly made it into the Japanese Olympic team, so all systems go for Paris.  Sadly his back-up horse By Design JRA had an unfortunate set back after Bramham, and will end up having a quiet autumn.  Vinnie is back after damaging his pelvis, and Kazu’s plan is to event him after the Olympics at a 3-day.

We have got Xavier who is an exciting new addition from France and he is doing well.
