Dressage today was not at all bad but it wasn’t quite as good as it could have been.
Atlantic Vital Spark was first on and did make a few mistakes, although overall he did a pretty nice test and he scored 32. He wasn’t as good as he was at Aston but he was very respectable.
Grafennacht did a nice test but it frustratingly had a few mistakes so it was not her best, she ended up on a score of 28 which isn’t quite good enough, and puts her in the mix with several others. It is a slightly more difficult test than she is used to doing but I do wish they would change it at Gatcombe, the Novices have been doing it for 25 years!!
They have had the rain so I am hoping the ground will be a goer, and tomorrow will be a busier day.
