Tattersalls update
Dressage went well yesterday and Percy did a lovely test to take the lead on a score of 41.6, he didn't put a foot wrong and was in an excellent frame of mind so I could not have been happier with how he went. I do seem to be saying it a lot at the moment but I am disappointed that the marking was quite so stingy, but that is Dressage and it is down to someone's opinion. For example last year Little Fire also did a nice test but was on 36.
So today is The Graduate's turn. He seems to be nice and relaxed and I am hoping that he shows himself off well. There are only 8 going in the 1* today as there is a much smaller entry in the class this year.
The 2* is also a much smaller section and is therefore completely doing dressage on Friday which is not what I expected.
The courses are looking good. They have changed direction this year which makes things very different. The ground is currently very good but could easily take some more rain which is bound to arrive as it is Ireland!
