Barbury - Friday
Had a good day today at Barbury but not a fruitful one.
Henton For Fun was in the open novice and did a lovely dressage and very frustratingly only scored 35. He then jumped a double clear but was off the pace, but it was great he had such a good day personally.
The Graduate also had a pleasing day with a good dressage of 27, he rolled a pole show jumping then went cross country with 4 time faults and finished seventh.
Chilli Morning did a lovely test early on but sadly only scored 44 and is lying 4th. He did some lovely work but I think it was a bit early for the judges to appreciate it.
Top Biats also went very well and did a very very good test and he is in the lead on a score of 40. Again I had hoped he might be on a score of 35 or 36 but he is lying right up there and there are 80 in the section.
Little Fire did his first 2* and I am very happy with him, he scored 43 with a lovely smooth test and is lying right up there in 5th place.
Tomorrow is a big day for them all so fingers crossed.
Cool Mountain is competing in the ERM dressage.
