Bramham - Saturday
Day two at Bramham went very much to plan for Oratorio, and he turned in a very competent clear inside the time and has moved up into third place. He really did go very well and he found the optimum time remarkably easy. And I think when he finished the course he could have gone around again, which is more than some people. He was very genuine and he never thought about a glance off.
He looks good tonight and fingers will be firmly crossed for show jumping because it is very tight and a fence down could be expensive. However Team Rio at Bramham are celebrating the moment and I will keep you up to date tomorrow.
It was a mixed day for the others; Luxury FH sadly got tired on the Bramham Hill so I pulled him up but he had been going very well.
Fernhill Pimms was excellent, he jumped really well but he had a pole down and then they gave him a 50 for knocking a flag which I think was very mean.
