Bramham - Sunday

Oratorio came out of yesterday extremely well, it took absolutely nothing out of him and he trotted up fine this morning, and he felt great for the show jumping. Unfortunately he had two down which was a bit expensive and he dropped down to 11th place as the scores were all so close.

On a positive he did jump quite well and the two he had down we did get a bit wrong, he wasn't just being clumsy, he was gaining a bit too much ground and put himself a little bit too deep.  He did jump a decent round which is not reflected by a score of 8 faults.

As we all know it is very much work in progress and I was delighted this weekend that he has at least pulled off the dressage and the cross country, next time it had better be all three!

He will now have a couple of weeks off and we can all look forward to his autumn programme.
