Boekelo - results

Sadly Boekelo didn’t finish up as well as I would have liked with 3 down, but Moonlight Charmer overall jumped a very decent round and considering this was his first 4*L he was feeling good.  He is a very good jumper and I am putting his penalties down to it just being a big week maybe.

 Interestingly plenty of the top 10 did not jump clear, with poor Laura Collett knocking a fence on Decapo and finishing third.  Tim was the winner and he certainly deserved it.  Boekelo 2022 was a real triumph, the event was as huge a success in Holland as ever, reputed to have 40,000 spectators on Saturday.  The only issue, and it was a shame, but a few horses fell at the last fence, I think in many cases that was put down to rider excitement. 

We have got a couple more events back home to aim for with the young ones, before I finish at Bicton with the 3*.
