West Wilts

 We had an enjoyable day at West Wilts today, it was hot and humid but the horses went well.  

I had BLS Absolutely in the Novice again and he did a lovely dressage of 26, he was a little bit fresh and forward in the show jumping to have 8 penalties, then was great cross country.

Santini also did a pleasing test to score 30, had one silly pole show jumping and then I decided not to run him cross country on the firm ground.

I was having another outing with Cusco on the 100 and I had a pleasing day to finish 5th.  He led the dressage on 21, had one unlucky pole and dropped down to 5th with a much less spooky and exciting cross country than last time.

West Wilts had done a great job with all the course spikings to make the landings better. They had built a good cross country course but there were quite a lot of skinnies and arrowheads!

It will be a quick turnaround to Nunney on Friday where the horses will have have to have their concentration heads on.

Seito had another good run in the 100, and he was very pleased with his cross country, he is stepping up to Novice next time.
