Season update
You will remember Yes I Can who was the horse I rode up to 4* and was owned by the Fox-Pitt Partnership, and after his rehab time off has gone back to my mother.
The great news is that he is so far sound and my niece is enjoying him. Olivia has quite formed quite a strong partnership already and rode him around Tweseldown pre-Novice with a double clear, and today he is at Upton. I thought you would like to know he is very happy to be back in work and he is giving Olivia some valuable experience.
We have got Max who was also sadly injured and is back in work and looking good. I am hoping to have him out competing shortly, and we have got everything crossed that after his good time off he should be absolutely fine.
My mare who we call Princess is working well having had her foal, and she might even be able to do some events in the Autumn. She is only a 5yo so there is no hurry and my hope is that she could well end up being a nice horse for Chloe or Emily. Her sister Winnie who is a 4yo has got a lovely Glencarrig Tempest foal at foot, and she will continue being broken in when she is weened this autumn.
We had a lovely girl on the yard - Liv, with her horse George - for the first half of the season. She has now gone back home but was a really valuable part of our team and I wish her lots of luck in her events this season with George.
Kazu is really building up in the last few weeks before Paris. Vince is looking fantastic and we are all obviously getting a bit tense.
Team Brazil are all on good form. They all had successful outings at Aston le Walls last week and our last pre-Olympic team training session comes up next week.
