2015 European Championship in Blair

This week I received a phone call from Yogi Breisner with the exciting news that Bay My Hero has been selected for the 2015 European Championships at Blair.  He is a fantastic horse with very consistent form at every level so I had hoped, following his fourth place in Kentucky, that he was in with a good chance.  What is particularly pleasing is that Fernhill Pimms and Luxury FH have been listed as his direct reserves, which is a real compliment and a credit to them both.  They have had very good 2015 CCI3* results, and will hopefully continue to progress through the season.

The squad selected for Blair shows what strength and depth we now have, and it is particularly exciting to see so many new/young combinations getting the call-up. 

I am delighted for the three horses’ owner Catherine Witt, who not only has been a loyal owner to me but is a huge enthusiast of Eventing.  She has put so much into the sport through ownership and generous sponsorship, which makes their selection very much deserved.
