Weston Park
Soltaire Justice scored 53.5 in his CCI* test yesterday afternoon at Weston Park. He did some very pleasing work, staying very relaxed and it was nice to ride him in a big arena.
Before Time also scored 53 today, this time in the CCI**. He did some of his best work. It was just a shame he got tense in his walk and as there is a lot of walking in this test it proved quite expensive. The rest of his work was as good as I could have hoped for.
Freddie Mac is lying in 5th, also in the CCI**, after a very good test to score 45.3. It was an excellent first attempt at the 2* test leaving him just 3 marks off the leader.
The 2* cross country is big and bold with a few tricky distances and the odd half stride to contend with which could make for an interesting day tomorrow. We have been lucky with the weather, there has been plenty of rain but so far it has come at just the right times.
