Weston Park

Weston Park finished on a very happy note yesterday with all three horses jumping superbly. 

Soltaire Justice moved up to 10^th place with a clear round in the CCI* and in the CCI** Before Time moved up to 5^th jumping clear and Freddie Mac had one pole down to remain in 2^nd.  He was very unfortunate to role the last part of the treble, which was also the last fence.  The distances were overall very very tight and the two strides out of the treble was just one too many!  For his level of experience, only having done four intermediates, he could not have gone better, taking the whole competition in his stride.

The show jumping courses were very tricky, cleverly built using the camber and slopes of the arena and combined with some technical distances they required a lot of riding and a decent jumper.

Tom Grant finished up third in the under 21 section of the CCI** which was a real achievement in his first ever CCI**.  His mare has come on a huge amount this season and is a credit to all the hard work that he has put in.
