Aston - Advanced dressage

We had a good dressage day at Aston Le Walls.  Georgisaurous was doing his first Advanced and did a very decent test to score 29.8.  It was one of the more difficult advanced tests so he was very much in the deep end but he coped brilliantly. There were a few weaknesses and wobbles but he certainly deserved his mark.

Atlantic Vital Spark also totally came up trumps and produced a very decent test, he was very relaxed and focused and I was actually a little bit disappointed with his mark of 32.  He made no mistakes and was very focused, so he has firmly put behind him two rather cheeky performances at Tattersalls and Barbury.

I am hoping the course suits them tomorrow, it looks a very good and fair test and as usual Aston have done a great job preparing the ground, and now it is raining so hopefully it will be even better tomorrow.  It will be interesting also to see how they cope with the usual big set of show jumps we find at Aston.
