Tamarillo. The news is out......

Exciting news today in the Horse & Hound that Tamarillo has been cloned.  It has been a huge process and we can’t believe that it has finally happened. 

MW and Finn Guinness wanted to make sure the foal was fit and well before the news hit the press.   It is an unbelievable thought that there is another Tamarillo around.

There will be plenty of opinions, I am sure, on whether this is a good or a bad thing.   However, this is something that the Guiness’ decided to do for personal reasons, and they will be hopefully able to enjoy keeping the Tamarillo gene alive at their fantastic Biddesden stud.

Tomatillo is an absolutely stunning foal and I will keep you updated with some pictures and videos of him.
