Tweseldown
Today it was off to Tweseldown with the youngsters and it was a very productive day, though not the smoothest or most glorious.
Under Oath again did a lovely test of 26, he rolled a couple of poles show jumping, it wasn’t his best round but, as I keep on saying, it will come. Actually on the cross country course he felt a little bit of a baby. The course was quite easy and dull, and I thought he would canter around with his eyes shut but he didn’t. However he had a nice clear, and will now enjoy a couple of weeks off to take a deep breath.
Centurian Bay did a pretty decent dressage which is all coming together to score 30. He jumped a lovely clear show jumping and he also was a bit green and spooky cross country, and he had an annoying 20 where we failed to turn sharp right into a log. So work in progress and I am planning on running him again at Pontispool on Saturday.
Tweseldown had done a superb job with their conditions and courses, but everything is getting remarkably dry already.
