Rolex Kentucky CCI****

It is very good to finally be in Kentucky.  The horses have arrived in fantastic condition and it definitely made a difference having the shorter road trip from Chicago rather than from New York as in previous years.

Since I arrived the weather has been warm and sunny but the horses had unfortunately started to sprout some winter coat in Chicago where there was snow! 

Conditions in the park look fantastic, there looks like there is plenty of grass cover and the going looks to be very good.  We are allowed to walk the course tomorrow.  Today, both horses will have a canter, their first one for a week and it all starts for real tomorrow with the briefing in the morning and the trot up at 3pm (8pm UK time).

Seacookie is first to go on Thursday and does his test at 10.00 (15.00 UK time) and Chilli Morning is on at 14.10 on Friday (19.10 UK time).
