Aston Le Walls (2)
The excitement of Aston yesterday was Absolutely’s win in the Novice. It was his second win in a row which is very exciting and he did go extremely well. He did a lovely dressage, got 27 and finished on that very comfortably. Things are looking good for the 6yo final at Cornbury. He is really coming together now and feels very confident and mature, and it was excellent to have some good ground that I could push-on on.
Santini didnt have such a good day. He did a good dressage, didn't jump badly at all but rolled 3 poles. However on the cross country he did unfortunately cut his knee that required some treatment and some stitches. He looks good today and that is all hopefully behind him.
Duke Legacy was back at Aston in the Intermediate this time and had a very good run before the 3* at Hartpury. He did a very good dressage, one of the bests tests he has done. He only got 30 but I was very happy. He had one who jump down but a good round, and popped around the cross country for fun.
