Pau update

 Had a very frustrating day in Pau, things didn't go to plan.  Sadly Cookie was not enjoying the ground so I pulled him up before fence 6, and after long discussion with Catherine Witt we decided not to take the risk running Parker,  the ground was just not best suited to him and we feel it is more important he starts next season on top form.
It was a very difficult decision being in the lead but there is always another day.

It turned out to be a very tough day of cross country and caused a lot of trouble.  The Brits did not fair too well but it is great to see Ireland's Joseph Murphy in second and fourth positions.

Horses will head off a little bit earlier than planned and will get a nice holiday when they are home.
