Pontispool - Sunday 25th May 2014

It was good to get novice horses out for a run again, the last BE novice one day that I rode in was at the beginning of April.

The Soapdodger did a lovely dressage of 27, jumped clear, went well cross country but with an annoying 20 penalties.

Reinstated also did a very pleasing test of 28 and rolled two poles in the show jumping, but his round was actually a very good one.  He also had a run-out cross country.

The Pontispool team did a fantastic job to run after heavy rain.  I thought the cross country course was an excellent, if strong, novice, but really well presented, and the going was not too soft at all.
