Bicton - 3* dressage

I am now at Bicton which is looking gorgeous and Duke Legacy is on good form.  I was very pleased with his dressage today, he did a very pleasing test to score 30.5 to be in 9^th position.  With a couple of squarer halts he would be in the mid 20’s and that is all I would be expecting of him at this stage.

Unbelievably after our whole dry week the ground is on the firm side.  The crazy season continues when you think a week ago Rockingham was cancelled because of rain and now poor Bicton are spiking and watering.

The cross country course if very fair and decently built, maybe not the most technical 3* but it is certainly physically quite demanding and will require a fit horse.  Our cross country is at 1.20pm tomorrow and I am hoping to not add to my dressage penalty.
