Cirencester Park - Sunday

It was good to be at Cirencester Park today, on Thursday it was looking quite unlikely. 

I had Moonlight Charmer having another Advanced run, and he was on good form.  He did a very nice dressage test of 30, jumped a great clear for 2 time faults, and I kicked on a bit cross country, not quite enough to be in the prizes, but it was a very good run and he was properly concentrating.

Cirencester had done well to make up a course on the best ground, and although the water had to be taken out, the course asked a few good questions which were big but fair.

My two Novice boys excelled themselves, Cayiano led from start to finish to win his Novice class finishing on his dressage score of 26.8.  He really felt like he had benefited from moving on a bit at Calmsden, and he was in a very good frame of mind.

Centari also did a very good dressage of 23, and although he jumped a double clear, there was one person who had done a better test who pipped us to the post.  Centari felt great and nothing seemed to worry him at all.

We have another busy day there tomorrow with four, and I’ll be hoping to keep up my run of double clears!
