The team had a very happy day at Moreton and everything went to plan.
Caiyano did a lovely dressage, scored 26, and he followed that up with a good double clear and a 6th rosette. I got 4 time faults cross country but that felt plenty fast enough and I hope that has set him up well for hopefully his first novice next weekend at Cirencester.
Duke Legacy produced a very decent test to score 27, and hold 2nd place. He then jumped double clear as well, and also added 4 time faults to finish 5th.
So at least I was consistent!
The times were plenty fast enough so I am very much not 'in the dog house' for getting 4 time faults, and hopefully they are now well off the mark in their 2022 season.
Considering all the rain the ground was amazing, and the courses were educational and rode well.
